It probably means you have information tags in the sound file that the GreenfootSound class does not account for (it does not account for any of them). Re-save the sound file without the information tags and it should run fine.

it does get out of the first loop :/ i found the error on line 43 where it sais i --; its suppose to be i2 --; i fixed that but the freezing still happens so evidently theres a bigger problem then a typo :/

Ok thank you. I think I have too less knowledge of Java to understand things like that now.

@erdelf You should try not to call the same method two times if it's not neccessary. If you just check whether 'ins' is null you call the getOneObjectAtOffset method only one time which makes your code perform faster. Your code would also work and concerning the method getOneObjectAtOffset it wouldn't realy matter because the method has a very low runtime. But when you use methods with e.g. an exponential runtime it will mater.

Either re-write your program so you don't need to create new threads, or fix all the uses of Swing/AWT methods so that they occur on the event thread (i.e. use EventQueue.invokeLater or similar as appropriate).

Or just declare new fields each time set to x_ and y_ and use them instead of x_ and y_ (or use them as offsets from x_ and y_). Example: <Code Omitted>
