We've definitely had some reports of 12/13 year olds using Greenfoot successfully. The Java syntax can be a bit of a challenge (and the error messages produced by the compiler and displayed by Greenfoot aren't very helpful) but if they can get past that then they shouldn't have any serious problems with making simple games. There's a very helpful community on this site too.

how to make ball bounce?????

The world should add the ball with a random y coordinate and a fixed x coordinate of the right edge of the world. The act method in the class of the ball should make the ball bounce and check for it being at the left edge of the world, at which point it would remove itself from the world.

Act method executes only the first block of code!!!

You have: <Code Omitted> The 'return' causes the act method to finish executing and return to the caller. If you want the execution to continue, you shouldn't use return here. Instead you could for eg:

You did not understand. Do you have an actor to be used for displaying the messages? if so, please show its code. You need an object whose image will have the message drawn on it. It is the class of THAT object I am asking about.

They helped me; just look at them and when you are done develop your knowledge further by looking on the forum, source code of other games, et cetera.
