Footstep sounds might be good ^^ I'm pleased you enjoyed the game so much! And yeah b321234 there was an update and now there is a chapter 3 :) Once you find all the keys, you can leave the chapter, although I might need to make it more obvious which door gets unlocked.
I'm pleased all of you are liking it! I'm going to be posting an ambiance update in a bit which will include additional details, small scares, sounds, and props. Afterwards I'm going to be working on revamping the main menu system in anticipation for the newest Greenfoot release, as well as more areas!
@Buildeboy2005 Ummm I'd like to report 2 bugs if you don't mind :S
First, the code doesn't work I saw your world class and found "MAINTINENCE" but I couldn't find it in the menu class. Is it the reason that the code doesn't work? I tried both "maintinence" and "maitinence(which you provided up there)" and they both didn't work so I have to start from chapter 3 every time:(
Second, the terminal window always pops out for some reason and shows tons of numbers.. And after a while, the game closes automatically, it's like someone has pressed Ctrl+W to close the project. That forced me to restart the game:(
Hope you could fix these errors ASAP, we're all looking forward to the perfect version of this fabulous game :P
Whoops good catch on the name-code and the console garbage. I have not experienced the random quitting though, was this in Greenfoot or in Browser? What OS were you using?
@Builderboy2005 Windows 7, in greenfoot newest version. While I was like killing zombies a terminal window suddenly popped out and said like -4.4 2.8 after a picked up the flash light, tons of numbers appeared, dunno if it was calculating or :S Then it quitted automatically.
Hmm well the numbers were probably some leftover debugging code I couldn't find, but the quitting expectantly sounds strange. Could you check the debug log to see if there were any Greenfoot crashes?

Fixed some bugs as well as adding some new content.
@Builderboy2005 The newest version actually works perfectly without any errors. I played it on a different computer tho, now I wonder if it was my greenfoot's problem.... Gunna re-install it :S
Good to hear! Yeah I fixed the terminal output and the Maintenance problem, but I didn't do anything else, so I wonder what fixed it for you o.O Were you able to get it to quit reliably?
Yup, chapter 4 is really difficult. I always ran out of torches and got stuck in the darkness and I had to reset it :(
Played it for like 10 times until my friend told me what to do...
Oh yea! I think there is one more little bug O.o
I dunno how to explain. So there is a long hallway that leads you to the left and there is a room "underneath" where you can get a torch... As soon as you go into that room, you can see that the "General Notice" comes out for like more than 10 times. You know what I mean 0.0? Yea it's pretty confusing... Not a big problem, doesn't cause any errors but.... Just to remind ya..
Anyways, game is perfect, sound effects great, graphics are wonderful... Nice work!!
I am still doing some play testing with chapter 4 to try to help people not get stuck as often, so I think I will definitely be adding more torches, and possibly a small piece of code to add torches if you are stuck in the dark without any.
And that 'general notice' spamming is me experimenting with some scripted scares actually XD Nothing to worry about ^^
not bad I spent more time playing it this time I should have realised about th e torch.
Got some java error to do with sound where the after the red eyes appear in the room where the little things are moving acrross the gound "chapter 2" and one where I think I died in the area where the extension cords are after been attacked. Are the walls spose to go matrix style (black with the red lines and the green shoting up from the emenys.?
Yeah the Sound reader throws some errors on some of the sound files sometimes, I'm working on getting that fixed. Also the green/red effect you describe is a developing bug testing feature that is enabled when you press v, so it's not part of the game :P
I'm glad you all are liking it! I'm planning one more small update in the future, and then I will work on some new areas. Right now I'm working on upgrading the shadow engine, adding ammo, adding a death animation, and preparing the code for the Greenfoot Highscores. Stay Posted!

Added muzzle flashes, added ammo, updated shadow code, and added a death case!
After "the test", is there supposed to be a bright light when the guy opens the door to get eaten? it happens any time you use a code too, it doesn't mess the game up, just to let you know.
I like all of the updates though, especially the box's shadows so it's a bit lighter.
Yeah he's holding the flashlight. He usually delivers a little dialogue right there and then gets eaten, but I forgot to re enable that script so right now he gets eaten right away >.< I'll do a quick re-upload
I got them from the video game Half Life 2, so if you want to use them either download the (low quality) versions from my scenario or if you happen to have the game extract them from the game file.
