I doubt that Linux has exactly the same fonts as Windows (Linux comes with only free and legal to share fonts).
Anyway, my favorite monospaced programming font is DejaVu Sans Mono (it is also the default for most GNU/Linux distros)
I also did a quick test and found that if I set the font to "Monospaced", it uses DejaVu Sans Mono.

I agree that a fixed width font should be used. Especially since my Linux system's fonts are different the letter spacing was totally screwed up (This is a very common problem for me in the Greenfoot Gallery, since most scenarios are designed for Windows fonts.).
And I did notice that 0.000000000001 watt thing, too :)
I like the way the lobster's eyes pop out when the crab goes by.
Just one problem is that the images are too small for the text, for example in the menu screen it says
1 playe
2 playe
and there is not enough room for the score after it says "player 1".
This is probably because I am using OpenJDK instead of the original JDK in Linux with all open-source fonts (they probably have slightly different width/height ratios)
