Oh, that's a good idea - having not done a whole lot with Lists I'd forgotten all about contains() - I prefer working with arrays myself, even if they are "worse" generally

Yes, it was removed intentionally as it was being abused. The best way to make an amendment to a discussion is to add another post rather than edit an old one - that way, people can see your train of thought, and the chain of conversation makes more sense. You are still allowed to edit the most recent post in a discussion.

Multiple Conditions?

Try putting a System.out.println("Test") inside of the If statement. That way you will be able to tell what the problem is. Is the problem that the If statement isn't being triggered, or that the object isn't being added properly?
