@shrucis1, I'm just speculating... but it seems while your code unlocked data and property location etc. seems to be correct, your property data does not (looking at the UserInfo data for the scenario)
It is as if me updating the scenario occurred as someone was saving, which lead to something strange on the server. But again I can't make any more sense of it without you
Yes. Did you happen to be saving around the time I updated (if you can remember). I'm at a loss, since it shouldn't have the rights to save over his UserInfo under yours in the first place, nor any code that would be attempting that
Not sure how much of an impact this would have had, but let me explain the story:
inigmo-drago-10 is my little brother, I was trying to help him with a code, and I ended up logging in on his computer. When I did this, I noticed that my house looked exactly like his. I am currently back on my own computer and my house stays this way, not that it's a problem, I didn't like my old house that much, and I had him collecting codes all day.
Items in your house because of what happened? Or items you can place which you haven't unlocked? For the former, I don't know what checks you want me to do.
bourne, when I'm talking about doing a check, I mean like whenever you save or something, it makes sure that all items placed in the house are actually unlocked. If some aren't, you display a message to the user or take out the items that haven't been unlocked, or, more simply, just reset their house because that would mean the program had an error. Also, a simple 'clear all' button would be nice. If I sell my house then buy another land, my house stays.
I can add a check like that. And yes, selling your property implies you can move your house and layout somewhere else. And I can add a clear property option as well. I'm working on updating my Battleship game at the moment, a new design to make in-match more efficient... Greatly lowering network traffic by not pulling full list of UserInfos data
No, but the more data that the scenario is pulling would cost time (so scales up as more users visit the scenario). It would not scale for in-match communication with new design.
@inigmo-drago-10, where did you get those rabbits... Did you find a way to cheat? Because what is required to acquire them seems you have not achieved...
Good job on the encryption, I still managed to get hold of the private key though :) Haven't unlocked everything yet, but if you like we could talk offline about how I got it and work towards making it more secure if you are interested.
@Builderboy2005, I'm guessing I know how you did it but yes I would like to talk about it. We could do it using my instant messengers (on my IM or Battleship game).
@inigmo-drago-10, if you add a room above a room you can make the top room have short walls which does not support rooms above or a roof, and have the floor similar to the roof type.
hey bourne quick question, how come when i get bunnies you take away my stuff and my property but when builderboy2005 gets bunnies you don't do anything?
@inigmo-drago-10, well for one - he was upfront with me. He didn't lie or trick me. Or post his findings for others to exploit it. He instead wanted to help make it better. So whether he ends up getting to keep his bunnies should not be your concern quite frankly.
