I could, but adding tons of fireworks (which are individual actors) really fast would generate lag. I will try though. As to your second comment about the colors, I was approximating with my update, but am more accurate with my description: there is exactly 16,777,216 possible colors.
I am very sorry about how late this reply is. I suggest you restart your computer and try again. I can't really help you to much in the area of java heap space errors, most of the time the code just won't work on that particular computer.
@danpost and game/maniac, I also noticed the slight tinting red when the wombat turned and remembered a discussion about it here: http://www.greenfoot.org/topics/find/3143#post_3143.
@Erdelf, in reply to your earlier comment, that is because it draws individual points on the screen to represent the texture, and when you get really close, it does not draw enough pixels to look completely flat.
I do not believe I stole your idea. I did this based on your suggestion of a 3d engine. I thought you were suggesting I do it, not telling me you were doing it. Am I confused on something here?
