I have always been technically adept and mechanically inclined. My father worked for the Singer Sewing Machine Company after WWII and then left to open his own independent sewing machine business. I began working in the family business in 1975 which was the first year that Singer introduced the world’s first computerized sewing machine. I went to special electronics classes taught by the Singer Company to learn to repair the circuit boards in the new machines. Ever since then I was hooked on computers and electronics. I have been building computers and programming since the 1980's and I have multiple degrees in communication systems and information systems. I am currently teaching technology and robotics to students with Autism.
