Advice Needed

So I'm creating a horse racing game where in the beginning, the user bets on a horse (each bet is worth a certain amount of money) and if that horse wins, the user wins money (and if not then no money is earned). The game ends when the user reaches a certain amount of money (User Wins) or goes bankrupt (User Loses). However, I am unsure of how to do add in interactivity like that and for the horse to reset each time without resetting the money. If anyone has a program that runs a similar code or advice on how to get it to work, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

setBackground(background); sets the whole background to the given image so it will fill the whole world out even if the image used is to small to fit. Write this instead: background = new GreenfootImage(getWidth(), getHeight()); background.drawImage(new GreenfootImage("landscape.png"), 100, 100); setBackground(background); You may want to add: background.setColor(the color you want); background.fillRect(0, 0, getWidth(), getHeight()); Right after background = new GreenfootImage(getWidth(), getHeight()); If the background color is not what you want.

Ah, my bad. I didn't notice to that there. Yah, something like that would be better if you want sheet music thing (place notes on a staff). I'm used to tabs/notes that are used in electronic-based programs, like Soundation. I can't read music from a normal sheet to save my life.

Exit button and Counter Reset

HI! I am doing the BOTMOD School Project and I need some help please. I need to create a button that will exit the game, any ideas? Also, I have a robot which picks up people that are accounted for in a counter, which counts down as an int, as the bot goes ove a base camp I need it to reset to baysize.set etc. Any ideas? Thanks

Well, you do not call the 'act' method either. They are called by the system at specific times. The 'act' method is called on the active world and all actors in that world while the scenario is running. If you have a way to distinguish between the players in the player class you can qualify the picking up of the powerup to the specific player that is allowed to. Having an instance boolean field in the class to signify if the powerup is picked up or not can be used to control the rest.
