Woo, 50-14! The algorithm could definitely use a bit more work, but it is really nicely implemented. The final score display is messed up, though.
My suggestion is to make sure the AI doesn't let you get any corners, because for me, when that happened the game was over. Corners and edge pieces are the most important, as corners cannot be flipped, and edge pieces cannot be flipped once the wall is filled. They also provide very handy ways to flip all the way across the board.
Thank you for the comments. I just noticed what you said about the final score messing up. I believe I know what is causing that and should have it fixed soon.
As for the AI, I didn't want to get into anything fancy. Just wanted something simple and workable :) but thank you for the suggestion. If I ever change the difficulty I'll think about what you said.
When you say "The algorithm", do you mean the AI or something else? Just wondering as I would like to know.
Wow! Only two days posted and already 4 votes WooHoo! Thank you all for the comments.
I just fixed the end of game text issue however, now that it's updated the overall text seems funny and diminished. But when I look at it on my own copy of Greenfoot it looks just fine. Any thoughts?
Also, I don't know if this is a Greenfoot thing or not but the sound is messed up when I run the game on my copy of Greenfoot, but plays fine here on the website. ??? I'm confused lol.
I think that adding more special effects when the computer makes its move will make the game more exciting.
The computer makes its move way fast and its difficult to see what move it took.
