Graviton is an arcade-style game built off of Asteroids. It's primary unique aspect is the ability to exploit gravity to destroy things.
For example, one may use a Gravity Well to pull in Space Debris, or using a Repulsion Sield with anti-gravity to push away Space Debris.
The items in the game are as follows:
-Health Kit (repairs a decent amount of health)
Pick up the red cross to gain health.
-Missile (shoots a powerful missile that can destroy strong enemies)
Pick up the barrels. They will provide you with missiles.
-Gravity Well (a well that pulls in space debris)
Pick up the silver orbs. When the gravity wells are functioning, they will be gold.
-Repulsion Shield (an automatic shield that repulses space debris)
Pick up the blue orbs. They will activate on pick-up.
-Bomb (an AOE explosion that destroys debris over a large portion of the screen)
Pick up the bombs.

Use gravity to your advantage. In Defend the Planet mode, you must prevent the planet from being destroyed. In Survival, you must try to stay alive as long as possible. In Sandbox, do whatever you want. You can set however many lives and planets you want in the options when selecting the game type. You can also set game options in the Options menu, as well as your key binding. You can turn on planet invincibility, which makes planets not perform collision, thus making them ever-lasting. This does not work in Defend Planet mode.
Shoot down the space debris. The advanced ones are red, which do more damage and are harder to kill. It is advised to use missiles on those. Use bombs and gravity wells when you are in a tight situation. Good luck, commander.
UPDATE 11/29/08 v0.8.1: Added placeholder explosion sound. It might fix the applet problem.
UPDATE 11/29/08 v0.8.1a: Updated collision code. Perhaps it will fix this applet enigma.
UPDATE 11/29/08 v0.8.2: Added some menu options. None of them work, except for 'New Game'. Fixed a little bit of code to improve speed (probably not noticeable).
UPDATE 11/29/08 v0.8.3: Improved menu options. Includes multiple game modes, however they are all the same. Can change the number of planets and lives. The lives function does has no use currently. Updated a few graphics.
UPDATE 11/30/08 v0.9.0: Final edits to the collision code. Added a title image and working planet options. Still no victory conditions. Updated a few more graphics.
UPDATE 11/30/08 v0.9.2: Added conditions for the end game. Updated the graphics one more time. Added working options.
