In the stash, you can't open the color menue, by pressing "shift"...
Maybe try another key...
And by entering the stash, when the objects are flying out, you still can't continue the game...

Inventory update
Once you equip the pickaxe, you can use the corresponding a,s,w,d keys to mine through blocks.
Sorry, yeah. I changed the menu key to "o", the restart key to "r" and the inventory key to "e"
I still have to fix the stash problem that you mentioned.

This game is getting an awful lot like Minecraft...

Reduced game size by 2000KB - Faster load time, worse sound quality.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Fri Mar 09 05:18:20 UTC 2012
Reduced load time further. Not too bad considering the amount of sound files. Next update will either have a ton of new levels or an inventory update.

Broke down the intro. Maybe it plays now. Who knows?
Its working! :) I like the intro - it makes it more like super meatboy now :p
This has progressed into a really good game - I'm just proud to have named it :L
The only problem with the minecraft music is you get the occasional animal noise
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Mon Mar 12 20:18:12 UTC 2012
Intro and transition animated gifs play now!
I actually added the animal noises, lol. It plays a random ambient noise every 300 (if I remember off the top of my head) act cycles. When you're in a cave, it makes cave noises instead of animal ones.
Oh fair enough :p not that it makes much difference but you could have a random spacing between the ambient noises - each time it plays a noise it works out the next spacing and counts down from there
But yeah I'm really liking this now :)
I don't know if this is a normal problem, but I was just playing and suddenly (and only for a split second) the audio cracked loudly - with headphones on it hurt my ears a bit :L Then again it might be a CPU problem (I've got a program running atm calculating all the prime numbers between 2 and Integer.MAX_VALUE inclusive and writing them to a .txt file as it goes so that might be it). Then again I just checked CPU usage and its around 40-45% atm so its not like it ran out.. Maybe it was the audio looping round? I'll post again if it re-occurs

Updated the corrupted sound file. New levels. Time for a boss to be made...
Thanks prodigy, but yes, there are many excellent games, scenarios and especially many talented users on the site. Builderboy and bourne are only a couple prime examples.
"e" on your keyboard opens the inventory, wasd dig in the corresponding direction (w digs up, d digs right, etc.) and also place the block in the held space in the corresponding direction.
