You are the Hero, and your job is simple: to defeat the Boss! To do so, you have to collect 3 golden Powerups, and once you do that, you can shoot. The Boss has 3 lives displayed in the red counter, each bullet taking away one, and once the health reaches 0, you win. But beware, for the Boss has a weapon of his own...
