I think this is a very good game and very well made. I understand this is in its alpha stages so just a suggestion, perhaps you should add upgrade options at the beginning of each wave and then make there other options of attack (air strike, whatever else). Just to add some more variety to the game instead of getting to the point where there's so many zombies its impossible to handle

@thebrownkid23 The problem with something like that is that at the moment, the wave updates are quite frequent. Wave 2 begins after 8 kills, 3 after 16, 4 after 32 and so on. I'll need to set some more defined wave differences before I can pause the game at each wave. It is something I'd planned to do, though. Some time in the near future I will add some kind of "pulse wave" type thing - like a shock wave that is emitted from the turret and kills a load of zombies - this could regenerate after time or by number of kills. By the way, if you want to see the original Scratch project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/13074300/ I aim to get the game to a similar stage as this, though with different music and an alternative to the rocket. And thanks for the like!

I also added a (very crappy) pause system. Pressing space will pause the game, but try to make sure you only press it through one act cycle, if that makes sense. Otherwise it will just pause, unpause, pause etc until you lift space. And if the menu is unresponsive, reset the scenario, should work fine.

Well sir, I understand you are making a lot of updates as I can see, but If you need help with some things, I can definitely help. I don't think pausing between each wave would be that hard if you just keep a variable in the world or something like that keeping track of the changes in waves. And for the pause thing, if you haven't figured it already, theres ways to only detect one touch. I won't detail it unless you want me to. I'd be glad to help you in anything you need

I've worked around the pause thing, ATM I'm working on all the userinfo stuff. I may postpone this update seeing as theres quite a lot i want to do with it. Highscores and settings are already coded and working though (not that the settings do anything yet).

I'll work an a music player another time, because i don't want to store the music directly in my file for means of space saving. Instead it will just be hotlinked, allowing you to skip through a number of tracks and possibly link your own.

Yeah just ignore that extra bracket for now, It's not worth an update.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Thu May 15 16:28:58 UTC 2014 So I came back to this after 3 months and realised I was almost ready to update. So, um, here it is! + New scoring system - scores now based on kills The game will automatically clear your score upon launch. + New menu UI + New losing screen UI + New ingame UI + New weapon - press MOUSE2 to launch an energy pulse, killing all enemies on screen. + If you cheat, your score won't be logged. The sound is very nearly complete, I just need to figure out what to do about music - I'd like to have some, but can't really be bothered to make a track just for this. I'll have a go now and see what I can come up with but there's no guarantee.

If everyone who played this before the update could log back in at least once, then the new scoring system will work nicely.,
