Easy: you loose 1500 if you die, you spawn on the last normal block you were.
Medium: you loose 1000 if you die, you got one checkpoint per stage.
Mean/Hard: you loose 500 if you die, you dont have any checkpoint, so you spawn at the start if you die.

Okay, just checking, 'cos it seems weird.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Fri Dec 20 18:37:53 UTC 2013 added different modes(Easy, medium, difficult); better movement;

Could you put in a delay, when you die? The chance to immediately die again when you die is quite high.

my highscore in greenfoot is 22000.... due to test if the scoring goes only up..
