this is a nice game. I like how it teaches about angles.
Is there a way for both players to go at the same time, not take turns? I'm trying to find a simple example of a 2 player game.
Hi mjrb4,
thanks for the comment on kidslike.info to let me know you uploaded the short version. Thank you for making a short version so quickly. I've tried it out. I put in the code for the keys. but nothing happens. Is anything supposed to happen?
Is it possible to have it unzip to a folder called graviton-short so it does not wipe out the long gaviton?
I'm trying to write the code for a scenario where there are 2 plays, and each player uses keys to move an object. Nothing else happens. Could you upload a scenario for that?
Thank you.
by the way, when you unzip this scenario, it's called obiwanfightsanakin, because the eventual goal is to turn this into a game where Obi-Wan Kenobi fights Anakin (Star Wars)
Hi mjrb4,
This looks like a very useful tutorial. I'm trying to follow along on kidslike.info
http://kidslike.info/greenfoot_gravitron_tutorial_student_assignment
It's trying to teach a lot of things in one tutorial.
Would it be possible for you to post a very simple tutorial that only teaches how to have 2 players, each controlling one character?
Thank you.
This game illustrates
1) how to create a new world that already has objects
2) how to use a for loop
3) how to accept keyboard input to move an actor around
Use the left, right, up, down, arrow keys to help the wombat go across the creek.by stepping on each red brick.
The code for this scenario is published on kidslike.info at
