Greenfoot Bug

On the website the bug occurs only the first time the reset button is hit. In Greenfoot itself it is more random when it occurs and I have Greenfoot 2.3.0. I encounter this bug in my Simple Puzzle Game as danpost mentioned earlier.

Change world after an objected has been removed

Hey guys, got a new problem, what else.. This time I want that after I´ve clicked the Object, a movie appears (it isn´t actually a movie, it´s more like many pictures in a loop), then after the movie appears it should wait, lets say, 5 sec and then change the world. All works fine, except changing the world. <Code Omitted>

You could look at the code to my Scrolling SuperWorld scenario. It performs three adjustments to the location of the main character (1) scrolls everything to move it back to center screen; (2) scrolls everything to ensure background still covers screen; and (3) ensures the main character is still within screen bounds.

Passing the main character will allow a constant check on its coordinates in the world. Why do you need the coordinates of the main character in the attack class? It seems you could just control the fireball from the class of the main character. Add an instance field for a reference to a fireball object. I do not know if what I suggest has anything to do with it or not; but, maybe you are checking for mouse clicks elsewhere in your scenario and it is catching them there instead of here.

Getting Coordinates from other Class

You don't realy need a counter in your game. This is just an example in the tutorial. In your case you would need a shield instead of the counter and the clase where you create and save the shield in would be your robot. So your robot always knows where the shield is at the moment. (Or the other way arround when your shield has to know where your robot is)

Problem Installing Kinect on MAC OS X(Mountain Lion)

For the final step of installing Greenfoot KinectServer I am getting the error as " checking for boost/thread.hpp... yes checking for the Boost thread library... no configure: error: cannot find the flags to link with Boost thread " For your reference, Listed below are certain commands I had modified ;not listed in the website instructions, to remove the errors. 1) sudo /opt/local/bin/port install libusb-devel +universal i replaced the libusb-devel by libusb and this was fine. 2) I have installed all the Mac ports for Mountain lion from Apple website. http://www.macports.org/install.php I tried to refer to the previous discussion but failed to understand where to make the changes. Please help. Thank you.
