Read Only

I just installed Greenfoot for the first time and I experiance the same problem. Everything, (scenes and scenarios included) are installed under C:\Program Files (x86)\ which is a write protected directory. Removed the write protection for the Greenfoot sub directory and all its files but that didn't helped. Do I have to move all or parts of the Greenfoot installation somewhere else?

No, you don't - just follow the instructions that the dialog gives you. If you start without opening a scenario, you can ignore the read-only message. If you open a scenario and you get the read-only message, save the scenario to a new location, and then open it from the new location.

Thanks davmac, I just realized that I could Save as a copy in other location and start editing it there. As you say, RTFM :)
