well im trying to get greenfoot to work on another computer and when i downloaded greenfoot i went to the java site and im unsure of which one to download

Which Operating system are you on? i.e, Windows, Linux, osX ? If windows or Linux (I'm not sure about osX), I need to know what processor bit type you are using, i.e. 32 or 64 Bit? I'll then give you a link to the download you need.. Kind regards

Ok, go here Java JDKs Click the agree to license and click and download the last item on the list:
Windows x64 67.41 MB jdk-6u29-windows-x64.exe

If you're going to get the JDK you should get the latest in either Java 6 or Java 7 series. For the Java 6 series that would be this one I.e. update 30, not update 29 which the post above links to.
