Why are there no simple music composers?

I would like to make an easy to use music composer that anyone can use to make music with. I want it to be professional-like, and for it to not be super over-complicated for no reason! Does anyone know how I could achieve this? Even achieving this on Greenfoot would be nice. At least I can record my computer's speaker if It's on Greenfoot, but making music with a really complicated editor with a bagillion rules that don't make sense just bother me... I just want to be able to place notes on a staff with no confusing strings attached! Does anyone else feel this same way, or am I just making too big of a deal out of this?
Soundation Free, simple to use, and in-browser, so no download. It also has a look that is similar to other composers I've seen. The only thing you have to pay for in it is for loops (but I prefer making original music anyways) I've used it to make some stuff (but I suck at making music, lol). It's really good if you want something free, and just loads instantly in your browser. If you want chiptune-style, I suggest PulseBoy, another in-browser thing, and is very very simple. Just watch the tutorial and you should be good to go. And this isn't simple or anything, but this is what I've been using recently: MilkyTracker, a free composer for chiptune music, but it's sorta complicated, and tutorials are scarce/don't show all the information. Hope you find these useful -From a guy who sucks at making music, yet still tries because he wants music in his games (and still never makes anything good for the games)

Wow... I'm great at making music! I make music in my head so much just for fun that sometimes I get confused if the song stuck in my head was made by me or not! Seriously, this is kinda funny... I'm half way expecting you to be good at art (which I am definitely not)!

UUUUUG I CAN'T FIND THE INSTRUMENTS I'M LOOKING FOR!!!!
I come up with great ideas for music, I just don' know how to express it through programs. Also, is the trouble you're having with Soundation? Because there are several tutorials or I could give you the basics I understand of it.

When you say "place notes on a staff" are you looking for something more along the lines of Sibelius rather than a sequencer? If so then MuseScore is a free equivalent (http://musescore.org/) - not as fully featured as Sibelius last time I checked (but then last time I used Sibelius in anger was when Sibelius 3 came out...)
Ah, my bad. I didn't notice to that there. Yah, something like that would be better if you want sheet music thing (place notes on a staff). I'm used to tabs/notes that are used in electronic-based programs, like Soundation. I can't read music from a normal sheet to save my life.
