I am wanting to include an image in Greenfoot that I have got off the internet. The image loads correctly into Greenfoot, just one problem. The problem is that the white space around my image shows up in Greenfoot. Is there a transparency option to 'hide' this white space? thanks

To make the background of an image invisible, you need a good image editing software. I would recommend Gimp. http://www.gimp.org/downloads/
