The July challenge started late; so I believe that an extra week was given for entries to be added. The August challenge, however, should probably have been started already (although, it has not -- as yet).
There are only 3 beginner scenarios, 2 intermediate and no advanced... :l
I don't think there are enough of us to do this really... But it was fun and I did learn a bit from trying new things so that means it's successful, I guess.

I too wish that it was more popular (but that will probobly come with time) and wish that i would have more time for entering (but thats probably my fault)... XD
Personally, I think the intermediate challenge would be easier than the beginner one...
For instance, I can create code that checks through an actor's image, finds pixels of a certain colour, and changes them to a different colour. Character customization, then, is not a problem for me. However, for the beginner challenge, you either can only have basic images in your scenario, or tons of code to draw each individual pixel.
I like these challenges and I think I will make a scenario for the next future challenge. I only made one for challenge one and that was only luck because I didn't made it for that.
@K_wow Also you could always draw polygons and circles/ovals with GreenfootImage, that is what I have used in the past. I had an entry for expert but I never finished it D:

That is true, but you still need a lot of code if you want to replicate proper images.
