How would one go around to making an off-gallery lan program in which two people connect?

That gave me a public ip, I don't know if that works. On a mac you can go to system preferences -> network, where it has an ip address ( the one I used ). For Windows see: http://kb.iu.edu/data/aapa.html Also of note, I don't think I cleanly closed the port in my scenario ( so after running it once, it may not work again unless the "port" variable is changed ). The ip and port must be the same on both copies of program to connect.
