I installed Greenfoot on Windows 7, 64 bit, but it does not start. The splash screen flashes up and then an error message appears: "Greenfoot failed to launch. For help go to http://greenfoot.org/programming/support/index.html." There is no dump, log file, not out put if launched in a command window, so I have no clue, what's going wrong. Of course, I have Java installed, I can start BlueJ, Eclipse and lot's of Java applications. My pc is a company machine behind a firewall. Could that be the cause? Any idea what else could be the reason? Any suggestions to fix this? Thank you very much.

Well, I found this in the event log of Windows: Windows Firewall blocked an application from accepting incoming connections on the network. Profiles: Domain Application: D:\programme\greenfoot\greenfoot.exe It seems, Greenfoot is not for use in secure environments. But actually, I do not understand, why a learning software should depend on connections to some (really trusted?)
