Very useful. Typo in the notes; "left column" should be "right column". :-)

Nice! What about a set number of binary numbers to convert (say, 10) and then a score at the end saying how long it took and how many you got right?

@mark.hayes Thanks for noticing... "right" was "left". :-)

@mjrb4 Yes, I like the idea and it should be possible... in time. I'm on it :-)

@mjrb4 There it went and here it is with a set of numbers and a score saying how many you got right and how long it took :))

Here's a tip for improving your binary reading skills - get rid of all the clocks in your house and replace them with binary ones ;)
HermanHerman

@qnanqing Must have been a huge byte :)

Nooooope ! :P Binary is quite easy ! i learned it from here :P (while searching) http://computer.howstuffworks.com/bytes1.htm the sort.. 1001 = 8 + 0 + 0 + 1 = ninee !!!! ;-)

Maybe this version closes the bridge, I have a final num of bits set for every run as an approach towards equality :-)

Wazzup :-( Can it be fixed? Heard it through the grapevine. A Google search for "Herman Binary" results in links to "Greenfoot Gallery - 'explosion' tag" and also "Greenfoot Gallery - 'Rasterizer' tag". Is that kind of appearance, behavior already reported?

Not sure why google throws up those ones first, but if you search for "herman binary scenario" then it'll give you this page as the first result.

Tnx, I'll pass the word.

http://greenfootgallery.org/scenarios/723 should be the correct shortcut given to searchers for "herman binary scenario"; obviously not the 2 shortcuts that we see reproduced in the screenshot!

Do the beans really move/wave? You should put Binary in your Optical Illusion collection :-)

Hi enggarsubono, right now he could be anywhere on the globe, could take a while though, but I'll draw his attention as soon as he enters :-)

I bet you wouldn't wanna skip the creative coding part, taking a product idea and making it a reality. Creating Binary makes you think even more lol.

Awesome! I would prefer it if it told you if you got it wrong right away. But still, a lot of fun and it really made me think (hard).
