Space Invaders

A simple shooter game.
There are 8 levels in total.
You have 5 starting lives, and powerups drop from the robots.
Press "s" for shield: the shield recharges.
Credit to mik for his explosion demo, and polle + mik for the scrolling background demo.

Ooh I like this! Nice take on the original. My only complaint is that it gets quite hard quite quickly - any chance of starting off a bit slower / easier?

Maybe. Currently, I'm making this into a large-scaled game. It'll be ready in a while.
