How do you beat level 3?
actiniumactinium

2012/12/12

Have you thought of having a minimum steps counter for each level so the player has a target to aim for on each level. Also when i walked into the red wall in level 5 i think the robot could walk on top of the counter and the game crashed. I have had this problem with cell based games, but have worked it out since, if you need any help give us a shout.

2012/12/12

You move with the arrow keys, not aswd. You should fix that.
finnlandfinnland

2012/12/12

@actinium Yes I thought about the max number of steps in a level. I can't find the crash you mentioned. In which cell you have to go, that the game crashes?? @Entity1037 Why is it better using a, s, d, w instead the arrow keys??
actiniumactinium

2012/12/12

Sorry Finn cant seem to reproduce it myself now, must of been seeing things.
actiniumactinium

2012/12/12

I also realise you have only programmed 5 levels so it was not a crash.

Nice game finn, cant wait to see whats next
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Tue Dec 18 16:36:19 UTC 2012 new step-counter! New Level (Level 6) Improved the level-buttons. If you have a nice idea for a new level let me know :) Have fun and like ;)
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Wed Dec 19 18:15:18 UTC 2012 made level 6 a bit more easy :)
actiniumactinium

2012/12/20

On level 6 i push the red bal onto the whirly thing in the corner, then i transport to the whirly thing push up arrow and the red ball disappears but then i dont seem to be able to do anything else. Great concept, this game has legs.
actiniumactinium

2012/12/20

Finished level 6, very clever.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Thu Dec 20 16:02:36 UTC 2012 You now have a maximum number of steps for completing the level. If you need more. The Trapdoor closes.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Thu Dec 20 16:09:33 UTC 2012 Fixed a bug.
finnlandfinnland

2012/12/20

@actinium: I fixed it now ;) You are not longer able to push things on Teleporters.
actiniumactinium

2012/12/20

That's harder with the number of steps limited. I finished the new level 6. I rather liked the battery, sad to see the battery consigned to the bin. :-)
actiniumactinium

2012/12/20

The battery could come in useful as a robot power up maybe for when the robot is running out of steps.
finnlandfinnland

2012/12/20

Yeah. Cool idea. I will look, if I implement it :)
danpostdanpost

2012/12/20

I completed the following levels in the specified number of moves: Level 2: 43 Level 3: 80 Level 4: 104 Level 5: 57 (in case you wanted to make it harder)
finnlandfinnland

2012/12/20

I Think, that it would be to hard ;)

Can anybody tell me, why the gane-window is smaller than it was half an hour ago??
actiniumactinium

2012/12/20

It looks the same to me.

2012/12/20

You now have these anoying scroll-bars at the sides. That isn't normal (to me).
actiniumactinium

2012/12/20

I dont see any scroll bars. Everything is ok on my machine. Could be a screen resolution issue at your end. Maybe, im not sure.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Thu Dec 20 20:02:49 UTC 2012 A new ´button in level 7 to switch the light on and off. Have fun and like the scenario ;)

2012/12/21

I HATE this movement counter, it makes this game too hard! make it more lenient because this game SUCKS now!
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Fri Dec 21 10:27:54 UTC 2012 You can now choose if the step-counter should be easy (double number of steps as in hard) or hard (same number as before.).
finnlandfinnland

2012/12/21

@ Entity1037 take a look at the new update ;)
actiniumactinium

2012/12/21

I like the counter in. You get two puzzles for the price of one. First you figure out the level then you can figure out the shortest number of steps, which is a puzzle on its own. :-)

2012/12/21

Nice addition finn, keep it up :)
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Fri Dec 21 20:36:18 UTC 2012 Added new sounds and some changes at the trapdoor.

2012/12/21

Hard level 2 seems out by 1, or im missing something.
danpostdanpost

2012/12/22

@actinium, Hard level 2 can be done in 43 moves. In fact, my new minimum is 41 moves on that level.
actiniumactinium

2012/12/22

@danpost, yes your correct i managed to finish the level but with the counter at zero, cant do 41 yet. :-)
actiniumactinium

2012/12/22

Wonder what the mathematical solution is !.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Sat Dec 22 16:02:47 UTC 2012 New Level and I edited the trapdoo a bit ;)
danpostdanpost

2012/12/22

@actinium, I would think the mathematical solution would be too complex to even fathom. There are way to many variants involved: time and location are both interacting with each other. For instance, in level 2, start moving the green toward its final destination BEFORE the final push on the blue one. You will find that one of the moves in getting the green toward its destination will push the blue into its destination. This makes this one move double dutiful, saving two moves in the total move count (the other move is saved by not having to move back from having pushed blue into its final destination).
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Sat Dec 22 21:16:08 UTC 2012 NEW EDITOR!!!! it's still BETA but the main part is working. You can select the item with the arrow-keys and then click on the world. The only item that doesn't realy works is the teleporter. But that will come soon :) If you created a new Level you sadly can't test it. But you can make a screenshoot and send it to me and I will Implement them :). (koelln.finn@googlemail.com). Have fun.

You need a way to change or remove tiles placed while editing.
finnlandfinnland

2012/12/22

Yeah I know :) I'm still working on it ;)
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Sun Dec 23 12:23:02 UTC 2012 EDITOR update! you can now remove blocks in the editor.
