Inspired by songs like Symphony no 1 & 2, Flag of Stars, and Galloping Major, I decided to make a game for my music ISP. The fact that all these songs were composed about the World Wars made me want to make a game that revolved around the military. On top of this, some of the songs that I listened to also had a movement based a round a march, furthering the idea that the game should somehow implement an army. What solidified my view on what the game should be about is after I did some research about Gordon Jacob’s life. After finding out that Gordon and his brother both served in the army in WWI, I decided to make a point and click shooter. Although both Gordon and his brother fought in WW1, his brother did live to see it end. Also includes random facts about Gordon Jacob's life at the end of the game. I wanted to include music, but the files were too large.
