Yes, you can win - get the coin - message will flash, 'you win' and the game will reset. I might add a hammer and scoring for the barrels you jump over. I might add an extra level, but my thoughts are DK already exists and is better than what I have here. The only planned improvement will be the addition of sounds, but I still have to make them.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Thu Dec 12 02:12:55 UTC 2013 there was a thing where the barrel was being added the the world without being set in its proper place, so you would see it flash in the upper left corner for a moment.

The original plan for this game was that it was to be implemented using JavaScript and the play field was going to be one third the size it currently is. I was just going to make it a little amusement logo/stamp to put on my site. A coworker of mine told me his daughter was learning Java via Greenfoot and that she had to make a game as her final project. I was curious and I thought to check it out. I did not have a clue as to what I would make, maybe pong or breakout or reimplement something I had done before and wished to rewrite. Looking through my hard drive I find a bunch of sprites spanning years for all of these ideas I had. I would make the art and the just sort of lose interest after working all the little pics out and animations to go with them. Hopefully I can bring more of these things to life.

I like how you make it so the barrels don't roll down the ladders Jumpman is climbing on. If they did that, it would make the game unfairly difficult. It was clever of you to notice that.

Thanks :D You can still get hit by a barrel coming down a ladder if you are standing on it, the barrels are allowed to roll down 2 ladders each, the only exception is the last ladder at the top; no barrel is able to roll down that one.

It will become easy after a little practice. This was my first scenario. If I had known a little bit more about greenfoot or took a little more time to design it, the code would have been much better.
